homework

we are going to interview 4 people to see how they feel about doing homework.

Do you like the amount of homework we do at the moment?

Sophie: yes

Austin:No I want less homework

Becky:No I think we shouldn't have the maths times table grid.

Do you like this homework?

Sophie:Yes

Austin:No

Becky:Yes

Do you like the amount of maths we do?

Sophie:Sort of I think it is reasonable

Austin:No I want less

Becky:No we shouldn't do the times table grid.

When we finish doing the alphabet homework should we do something different?

Sophie:I think so

Austin:No more homework

Becky:Yes

Do you like the time limit we have for homework or should it be different if so how long?

Sophie:I like the limit I just think it should be due on a different day

Austin:I think we should have no time limit because we should have no homework

Becky:Yes it is a good time limit.

Flag collection goal reached!

Everytime we have a visitor to our blog from another country, we get the flag of that visitor's country for our flag collection. Back in July we set a goal to reach 20 flags. Well, we reached that goal today!! There are some country's flags we recognised straight away (USA, England, NZ, Australia) but there are many others we would need to look up. It's pretty amazing to think that someone from Myanmar was checking our blog. New flags can pop up at any time. Our flag collection is a widget we installed on the right hand side of our main page - scroll down to see if there are any more new ones...
What shall we set as our next goal? 50 flags?

Riddles! Are you smart enough to solve these?

The answers will be at the bottom.

1.A blue house is made of blue bricks. A yellow house is made of yellow bricks. A red house is made of red bricks. An orange house is made of orange bricks. What would a green house be made of?

2.For some I go fast for others I'm slow. To most people, I'm an obsession relying on me is a well practiced lesson.

3.A man was going to buy a $5000 car, but he didn't pay a penny for the car, how is this possible?

4.
Romeo and Juliet are found dead on the floor in a bedroom. When they were discovered, there were pieces of glass and some water on the floor. The only furniture in the room is a shelf and a bed. The house in is a remote location, away from everything except for the nearby railway track. What caused the death of Romeo and Juliet?

Answers:
1. Glass. A green house is made out of glass.
2.Time.
3.
He didn't pay a penny, he payed $5000 for the car!

4.
Romeo and Juliet are fish. The rumble of the train knocked the tank off the shelf.
