The course is still 3km but sadly due to the course being altered to remove an uphill and a downhill, no records will be recorded this year.
The rough starting times are:
9.00am Year 7 Girls
9.25am Year 7 Boys
9.50am Year 8 Girls
10.15am Year 8 Boys
10.15am Year 8 Boys
Students please bring running shoes to wear and a named water bottle. Parents and supporters are welcome to attend.
Remember that every Kahikatea student's placing is added to our House total and we are trying to achieve the LOWEST overall score for the day to win.

ReplyDeleteAn awesome effort was put in by all of you. Many of you commented that it was a different experience running up against so many more students than you had been used to in Primary School. If you managed to get in the top 100 you can really feel proud because on average you are in the top 3 out of each classroom in the school. Also fist pump to those Kahikatea students who gave it their all and sprinted the final section down to the finish line no matter where they were in the field.
ReplyDeleteI came 239th
